NEED OF REDOUBLED EFFORT.

The War Minister, General S. Hata, warned a gubernatorial conference that it was impossible to predict the outcome of the world war and that it was unlikely that :the world crisis would be soon dispelled. The situation, abroad and at home, was so serious that Japan's national existence was at stake. Therefore, national efforts must be redoubled in order io fulfill Japan's divine destiny.
