BUSH RUGBY FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following is the draw for Saturday's matches in the Bush Rugb> Union's competitions:— Senior: —Konini v. Haniua, at Pahiatua, at 2 p.m.; referee, Mr B. Harvey; Nireaha v. Hukanui, at Hukanui, at 2 p.m.; referee, Mr E. Matson; Pahiatua v. Mangatainoka, at Mangatainoka, at 2 p.m.; referee, Mr E. Fisher. . Third grade: —Eketahuna v. Pahiatua, at Eketahuna. at 2 p.m.; referee Mr W. Ryan; Nireaha v. Woodville, at Woodville, at 2 p.m.; referee, Mr C. Skilton; Athletic v. Mangatainoka, a' Pahiatua, at 1.15 p.m.; referee, Mr D. I’oster. Personal. Mr P. Berry.. Nireaha, is at present louring the Bay of Plenty district. Eric Parkins, of Hopu Hopu, and a pupil of ib.e Hamilton High School, if spending few days with his cousins, tlie Misses Wilson, Parkville. Surprise Party. A surprise party was given to Mi and Mrs E. E. Goss Senr., of Nireaha, by members of their family, grandchildren and friends on Saturday night. Mr and Mrs Goss are leaving the district to reside in Levin. The presentation of a satin eiderdown quill was made by members of the family and presented by Mr W. H. Lawry. who wished them both the best- of health and good luck in their new home. Mr E. E. Goss briefly replied, thanking the family and .friends for the pi esent and the enjoyable evening. The toasts honoured were proposed as follows: —"The Parents.” Mr C. E. S. Goss; ‘Sons-in-law and Daughters-in-law,” Mr W. J. Hooper. Items during the evening were contributed by Messrs S. Goss and Alan Larsen and Mrs H. Norclell.
