ANOTHER RISE IN AUSTRALIA. EXTRA DUTY PASSED ON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Dav. 10.35 a.m.) CANBERRA. This Day. Petro] prices throughout. Australia wore increased by 3d a gallon from loday. Thus the extra duty imposed by the Federal Government last week will be passed on to consumers. The new rales per gallon will be:—Ordinary grade. 2s 4d; first grade. 2s sd. Petrol is now 7d a gallon above its pre-war price.
