LINER BREMEN
SAID TO HAVE BEEN SUNK. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, . NEW YORK. May 8. The “World Telegram” prints a letter from a member of the crew of the German liner Bremen to an American nephew stating: “Our ship was bombed on April 9. We are now interned.” and corroborating the reported sinking. Several unconfirmed reports that the Bremen. Germany’s 50,000-ton liner, had been sunk were received early in the Norwegian campaign. She was said to have been used as a troop tiansport.
