NAVAL PROMOTIONS
SIR C. M. FORBES ADMIRAL OF THE FLEET.

Admiral of the Fleet Lord Chatfield completes five years in that rank today. The King lias approved the promotion to the vacancy thus created of Admiral Sir Charles M. Forbes. Com-mander-in-Chief of the Home Fleet, to be Admiral of the Fleet, to date from May 8. In consequence Vice-Ad-miral Sir Dudley North is promoted Admiral.
