FRENCH CRUISER
STRUCK BY GERMAN BOMB. NO CASUALTIES AND LITTLE DAMAGE. PARIS. May 8. The light cruiser Emile Berlin was struck by a heavy bomb off Norway, but her heavy armour prevented serious damage. There were no casualties, and a slight leak was repaired as the ship continued on her course. Twenty light units of the French Navy participated in Norway and none were lost.
