FAREWELL GATHERING
(“Times-Age” Special.)
The Newman Hall was comfortably filled on Saturday night, the occasion being the farewell social tendered to Miss L. Edwards, who has been in charge of the Newman School for the past three years. During an interval Mesdamefj A. Gyde and R. Cooper contributed a monologue for which they received well-merited applause. Another much appreciated item was a song rendered by Noeline Giles, Verna and Coarie Cooper. The supper arrangements were in the hands of the ladies and their efforts were fully appreciated by the dancers who did full justice to the delicious fare provided.
