GOLF CLUB WILLIAM HUME MEMORIAL CUP. (“Times-Age” Special.) The William Hume Memorial Cup was won by J. Riwai, with a net aggregate of 216 over three rounds. T. Hume was second. The following is the draw for the first round of the Rose Bowl: —Mrs. Cowan v. Mrs. Thomas; Miss McDougall v. Mrs. Carter; Mrs. Longman v. Mrs Sutherland; Mrs Herangi v. Mrs Bragg; Mrs. McLeod v. Mrs. McKenzie. The draw for the Campbell Cup is as follows: —J. Riwai v. G. Sutherland; D. Tikas v. C. Longman; D. Jones v. F. Lovegrove; C. Thomas v. C. Hall: T. Hume v. W. Charteris; K. Waiwera v J. Carter; M. Waiwera v. O. Charteris; B. McMaster v. W. Stewart; M. McLeod v. S. Chapman. Personal Items. Mrs. Cowan has returned from Feilding. Mr. E. Nutt, Masterton, was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hutcheson for the opening of the shooting season. Mr. J. H. Tilson was among the visitors to Wellington recently. Mr. Malcolm Sanson, Masterton. has been the guest of Mr and Mrs Oatee. Mr. Colin Didsbury, Wellington, was the guest of his brother for a few clays.
