FORESTERS’ LODGE

COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE.

MEETING, IN MASTERTON.

The fortnightly meeting of Cour! Loyal Enterprise, Ancient Order of Foresters, was held last evening when the Chief Ranger, Bro C. W. Walker, presided over a fair attendance. The sick visitor. Bro H. M. Smith, wrote advising that he had visited sick members. and that they were progressing favourably but owing to being indisposed himself he was unable to attend the meeting. Bro Walker expressed the sympathy of the court with Bro Smith and wished him a speedy recovery. A circular letter was received from the District Secretary stating that special provision was being made for Courts to keep their members who had joined the Forces, financial on their books while absent on active service overseas.

The District Secretary also wrote in connection with the forthcoming itinerary of the Executive. A letter was received from the United Friendly Societies Indoor Bowling Association. Palmerston North, advising that a Centcnnal Tournament was being held in June and asking that the local club be represented. It was decided to hold the matter over until the next meeting.

Arrangements were made to invite the Druids to a social with a game of indoor bowls to follow at the next ordinary meeting.

Sick pay and accounts amounting to £4B 3s 4d were passed for payment.
