PERSONAL ITEMS ("Times-Age',’ Special.) Mr and Mrs A. S. Kilsby, Featherston, are spending a holiday in Wellington. The preacher at St. John's Church at the evening service on Sunday was the Rev. K. F. Button, Vicar .of Pahiatua. Miss Stansell, Kahutara, is spending a holiday at Lower Hutt. Mrs. Moorcraft, who has been visiting her sister Mrs J. Buck, Underhill Road, has returned to Auckland. WRESTLING CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Featherston Wrestling Club the election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr J. W. Card (re-elected); president, Mr A. McLeod (re-elected); vice-presi-dents, Messrs D. H. S. Riddiford, T. Hardie, R. W. Matthews, P. H. Wilton, L. Larnbess, F. Brough, E. Perry, F. W. Smith, Ras. Jepson, J. W. McKain, Beckett; secretary, Mr H. Scrimshaw; treasurer, Mr J. Moriarty; auditor, Mr J. G. McKenzie; hon. surgeon. Dr. G. S. Sharp; committee, Messrs J. Blain, J. Drew. C. Wenden. M. McNamara, F. Cassidy, H. Leighton, A. Jensen; captain, Mr Guy Wenden; vice-captain, Mr H. Scrimshaw. Subscriptions were fixed as follow: Under IG, 2s 6d; under 20, ss; over 20, 10s; all new members over 20, 10s. Practice nights were fixed for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mr F. Brough was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for the donation of a trophy to the value of £2 2s. GOLF CLUB SHIELD COMPETITION. The following were the best cards handed in for the first round of the Shield competition, held on Saturday: G. O’Neale 75-5-70; H. Wehipeihana 77-5-72; J. McCallum 82-10-72; H. Neilson 101-28-73; H. Bloxam 87-13-74: K. Allen 82-7-75; J. Davis 91-16-75. A medal round will be played next Saturday. Reduced handicap: G. O'Neale 4/3.
