Boy Breaks Arm. A son of Mr and Mrs T. Mellish, of Wyndham Street, Carterton, had the misfortune to break his right arm on Saturday. ,He was in Featherston when the mishap occurred. Playing with other children he tripped over a stick and fell heavily to the ground breaking his arm above the wrist. He was brought home to Carterton where Dr W. J. C. Wells attended him. x Fined for Drunkenness. Ronald Neville Earnshaw was charged before Mr W. M. Sorensen, J.P., at the S.M. Court, Carterton, this morning with have been drunk and was fined £2.
