COUNTRY NOT A BATTLEFIELD OPEN TO ALL.
DEFENCE AGAINST INVADERS.

BRUSSELS. May 5.
The Prime Minister (M. Pierlot) in a speech, said: '-Only an attack against Belgium's frontier or an equivalent act incompatible with the nation's security will make us break the pact of peace binding us and all our neighbours. Belgium ig no .longer a battlefield open to all belligerents. It is a fortified camp, defended by its Army against all invaders."
