TEACHER FAREWELLED
GATHERING AT LANSDOWNE. Mrs. M. G. Smith (nee Miss M. Rowse), was farewelled at the Lansdowne school yesterday. Mrs. Smith, who was a teacher at the school, recently married. She was entertained at morning tea, and in the afternoon she was the guest at a gathering of the pupils. Congratulatory speeches were made, and best wishes extended to her for the future. Miss J. Feist, of Ohangai, Taranaki, will take up duty at the school at the end of the holidays.
