RIFLE SHOOTING KAIPARORO CLUB COMPETITION. (“Times-Age” Special.) Members of the Kaiparoro Rifle Club fired over the 800yds and 900yds ranges for a trophy donated by Messrs Perry and Co. The winner was Rifleman F. Schormann. Tricky conditions prevailed and a very bad fishtail wind from the south made shooting most difficult. The following are the scores: F. Schormann, 800yds 33, 900yds 32, champ 65, hdc 2, trophy 67; C. Welch 33, 32, 65, 3, 67; A. Hansen 33, 28, 61, 4, 65; O. Walton 29. 30, 59, —. 69; J. ■Torrey 21, 30, 51, 4, 55. Personal Items. Mr R. Baigent, Ruatapu, Hokitika, returned home yesterday after having been the guest of Mr and Mrs V. Baird, Pleckville. Mrs W. Green, Stanley Street, is visiting Wellington. Mrs R. J. Daniel, Atea, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mr J. Torry, Kaiparoro, is visiting Wellington. Mr Miles Sheeyhn, Wi Waka, is visiting Wellington. Mr and Mrs Ken Godinagh and family. Waipukurau, are the guests of Mrs W. Edwards, Main Street. S.M. Court. A special sitting of the Eketahuna 5. Coprt will be held on May 9.
