Turn gas very low. and add !, tin condensed milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, and. if liked, a few spots caramel colour. Pour into greased tins and when cold cut into squares with a sharp pair of scissors. This is a very soft caramel, and if wanted harder boil mixture to 265 degrees F.
