GAME IN WAIRARAPA MEN’S ASSOCIATION. NO MATCHES ON SATURDAY. All matches in connection with the Wairarapa Men's Hockey Association arranged for Saturday have been postponed until the following Saturday, owing to a large number of players and umpires wishing to attend the closing of the Centennial Exhibition. The grounds will be available for practice games. LADIES’ ASSOCIATION A CORRECTION. An obvious error appeared in the hockey notes supplied by “Bully” in yesterday's issue. Writing in regard to the Women's Association’s transport scheme, it was stated that players would be conveyed to all points between Masterton and Carterton and vice versa by buses hired by the association. This should have read between Masterton and- Featherston, and vice versa, as all clubs affiliated to the association come under the scheme. Players are again reminded that all ladies’ hockey matches set down for next Saturday are postponed on account of the closing of the Exhibition.
