LADIES’ HOCKEY CLUB WEEKLY DANCE. The weekly dance of the Featherston Ladies’ Hockey Club which was held in the Anzac Hall was well patronised. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr Hyland and Miss Marshall. Mr Buck was M.C., and Mr V. Boyd supplied the music. Miss G. Fraser played an extra. RIFLE CLUB COMPETITIONS COMMENCE ON TUESDAY. The South Featherston Rifle Club will commence the President's Cup and Hector Donald Memorial Cup competitions next Tuesday. Personal Items. Miss N. Tocker is spending a holiday in Wanganui. Mr W. N. Burt, of Te Puke, is staying with Mr H. R. Burt, South Featherston. Mrs Cross is visiting Lower Hutt.
