RANGITUMAU

TENNIS SEASON CLOSED i AN ENJOYABLE DANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) To close the tennis season the Rangitumau Tennis Club held a most enjoyable dance in the Rangitumau Hall last Saturday evening. The music, supplied by Messrs Arnold Barnes and Gordon Longworth, was excellent to dance to, and Mr Laurie Wilton as M.C. kept the dances going with a swing. Home-made supper was provided by the local ladies.

The Lucky Gay Gordon dance was won by Mr Fenemor and partner, the Monte Carlo winners being Mr Harry Tilyard and partner. The prizes for the novelty dances were donated by the president, Mr Erie Wilton. The evening was closed with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” and “God Save the King.”
