TRAGEDY AT WAIKINO
INVESTIGATION BY POLICE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIHI. April 30. The Commissioner of Police. Mr D. J. Cummings, arrived in Waihi yesterday, accompanied by Inspector G. B. Edwards, newly-appointed officer in charge of the Hamilton district, which includes the Waihi area. With the .detectives engaged in investigating the Waikino tragedy they went very fully into the matter, and plans for the future were very fully discussed, said the commissioner this evening. Apart from that. Mr Cummings said he had nothing to say.
