OBITUARY
MRS F. A. HAMLIN. Deep regret will be felt in Masterton and district at the news of the death of Mrs Flora Anne Hamlin, which occurred at Auckland yesterday, after a short il'lness. The late Mrs Hamlin was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Cameron, Opaki, a pioneer family of the Wairarapa. She had resided in the Auckland district for about 37 years having moved there shortly after her marriage, which took place at Kopuaranga. Her bright and pleasing personality won for her a wide circle of friends during her early years of residence in Masterton. Her husband predeceased her about ten years ago. A grown up family of two sons (Messrs Martin and Joseph Hamlin), and a daughter (Miss Mary Hamlin), four brothers (Messrs Donald Cameron, “Moeraki,” Hinakura; R. A.. Mauriceville; Murray, Sydney; E. P., Fahau, Hinakura; and three sisters (Mrs W. Roberts, Whakatane, and Misses C. and M. Cameron. Masterton) are left to mourn their loss, and they will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their sad bereavement.
