SAVOURY RICE
A NEW LUNCHEON DISH. Wash well 1 cup rice; fry in 2 tablespoons margarine until lightly browned, add 11b. skinned and chopped tomato, 2 large sliced onions, 1 red capsicum cut into dice. 4 spring onions, with a little of the green, 3 cups boiling stock or water, salt, pepper, and a little paprika, and simmer until rice is lender. Serve garnished with grilled bacon rolls and sprinkled with finely chopped parsley.
