NAVY LEAGUE

KNITTING ACTIVITIES. PARCELS FORWARDED TO WELLINGTON. Advice has been received by the local Branch of the Navy League that Navy League branches have been asked to supply a large number of scarves and balaclavas to the men of the New Zealand Naval Forces. Five large parcels of warm knitted garments were forwarded to Wellington last week from the local branch of the Navy League and all those members and friends who have helped to provide this warm clothing will be pleased to know that their work will be a great help in meeting this readiest, and that the garments will very soon be in use.
