REWARD OFFERED
-♦ INFORMATION ABOUT WAITH TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIHI, April 19. Notification has been received from the Minister in Charge of Police. Mr Fraser, that a reward of £560 will be paid for information or evidence which will lead to he conviction of the person or persons who caused the deaths of Alice Elizabeth Hamilton and Lloyd Moran. Indemnity against prosecution will be given to any accomplice, not being the person who actually caused the deaths, who shall be the first to give such information. The offer will remain in force till June 30, 1940. The bodies of Mrs Hamilton and Lloyd Moran were found far apart on the side of the main Paeroa-Waihi highway earlj* this month. The offer of a reward follows on more than a fortnight of widespread inquiry by detectives from Auckland and Hamilton as well as in the WaihlThames area, a thorough canvass of private and public garages, in many districts without any tangible result.
