DOMINION ENLISTMENTS
TOTAL TO DATE 33,447. DETAILS FOR MILITARY DISTRICTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. A total of 655 enlisted in the Dominion last week for service with tlie Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, bringing tlie total enlistments to April 13 to 33,447. The increase for the week is less than during the previous week, when 809 men registered. The balance of fit men available for posting to camp was 5894 on Saturday. Recruits medically examined at the end of the week had been classified and dealt with as follows, the figures as at April 6 being shown in parentheses:—Fit. 24,040 (23,553); temporarily unfit, 2472 (2432); permanently unfit 4288 (4176); in reserved occupations and therefore not available for service. 1927 (1896); sent to camp. 15.502 (15.3951; balance (fit men) available, 5894 (5582).
