(By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH. April 17. During the first half of April, the big dredge returns were as follows:— Barrytown. 5170 z for 227 hours and 90,000 yards. Kanieri, 6430 z for 238 hours and 129,000 yards. Arahura, 6830 z for 253 hours and 180.000 yards. MARTHA GOLD MINING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. April 17. The directors of Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi). Limited, are recommending a final dividend for 1939 of 9d a share, free of British income tax, according to advice received by Mr J. H. G. Banks. New Zealand director and attorney. Payment will be made on May 10. The annual meeting will be held in London on May 9. An interim dividend of 6d a share, free of tax, was distributed in November. The year's payment is Is 3d a share, equal to 25 per cent, as against Is 6d or 30 per cent in the previous year.
