SOUTH AFRICAN NATIVES ALARMED. South African Natives in a kraal near Bronkhorslspruii were alarmed when, shortly before a heat, wave was broken by heavy snowers of rain, an inverted, mirage appeared over a ridge about, a mile away. Everyone in Hie vicinity saw a man on horseback driving along a herd of cattle —upside down.
When the natives saw the cattle moving over the ridge on their backs will) their hooves in the air they lied to their huts and would not come out until ni£htfall.
