Shouting, “Down with Churchill!” one hundred students marched towards Signor Mussolini’s residence, but were turned back by the police. Mr. Chamberlain’s appearance in a newsreel was booed at several cinemas. A mob paraded before the British Consulate in Milan and a student broke into the waiting room and tore down British war posters, before the police dispersed the demonstrators. DIVISION SEEN FEELING RISING AGAINST REGIME. MUSSOLINI’S PRIVATE DISLIKE OF BRITAIN. (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON. April 16. Mr. Alfred Duff-Cooper, in a speech, said: "There is rising resentment against the present regime in Italy. Signor Mussolini has a private and personal dislike of Britain and the Allies'. The Press is allowed to say only what Signor Mussolini sanctions. However, others, in not unimportant positions, are great friends of the Allies."
