Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington market this week are quoted as follows:—-Quinces. 4s to 18s a bushel: grapes, hothouse. Is 8d to 2s 2d a lb; peaches, 5s 6d to 8s 6d a i-case: cape gooseberries. 7s to 8s 6d a i-case; passion fruit, 9s to 10s a J-case. Tomatoes, Hutt coloured. 3s to 5s 6d a J-case; ripe. 3s to 7s 6d. Potatoes, 4s to 6s a cwt; onions. 9s to Ils a cental; beans, 11s to 30s a case; green peas, 14s to 30s a sack; cucumbers. outside, 4s to 6s a case. Lettuce, Is to 3s a case; cabbage, 4s to 9s 6d a sack; pic melons, 7s 6d to 12s a sack; cauliflowers, 6s to 13s 6d a sack; silver beet, 6d to Is 6d a case; spinach, 3s 6d to 9s a case. Marrows, Is to 2s 6d a case; pumpkins, 3s to 6s a sack; carrots, 4s to 7s 3d a case; swedes, 2s to 4s a case; parsnips. 5s to 8s a case; beetroot. Is to 3s a case; celery. 3s 6d to 7s a case; rhubarb. 4s to 12s a dozen bunches.
