SUNDAY SCHOOL PARTY

GATHERING at kuripuni. 11l place of its annual picnic, the Epiphany Sunday School, Kuripuni. held a very happy party on Saturday afternoon, tit the Epiphany Hall. During a break in the weather races were iun out of doors, the results being as follow:— Girls, under 6 years: Margaret Thomas 1, Nola Macalister 2; 6 and 7 years. Eileen Mouldie I. Lorna Harman 2; 8 and 9 years. Beryl Hender?on 1. Ngaire Harman 2: 10 and 11 years. Leonnie Forrest 1. Audrey Henson 2: 12 years and over. Gwen Moldbio 1. Elva Jackson 2; three-legged (ace. Peggy Davies and Audrey Henson 1, Elva Jackson and Betty Evans '■ Boys, under 7: Colin Cox 1. Alex I Jox 2; 7, 3 and 9 years. .Ralph Judd 1.1

Erie Webberly 2; 10 and 11 years Seclgley Bannister 1. Hyla Leighton 2. 12 years and over. Bob Forrest 1, Eddie Simpson 2; wheelbarrow race. B Forrest and S. Bannister 1. T. Nelson and I. Hansen 2. After enjoying games, tea was served in the hall by an energetic band of friends and teachers. A highlight of the party was provided by "Mr F. Price, who very kindly came along

and entertained the children with lightning sketches. Before the party broke up the Rev. \ W. .Toolin, in the absence of the i Vicar, the Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Rich, took the opportunity of thanking the I and Mr Price for their j help in making the party such an en-1, joyable one.
