OPENED IN NEW SOUTH WALES. GIFT OF NEW ZEALAND RETURNED MEN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY, April' 11’ The ceremony of dedicating at the war veterans' home in Narrabeen two rooms, together with furnishings, provided out of a “tarpaulin muster" by New Zealand returned soldiers who visited Sydney for the 19.38 Anzac Day celebrations took place today. The rooms are named after the ships which brought the New Zealanders to Sydney. the Monowai and Maunganui. whose names are now displayed on the doors of the respective rooms. The president of the New Zealand subbranch of the Returned Sailors" and Soldiers" League, Mi’ L. Winnicott. briefly welcomed New Zealanders, who were mostly ex-Servicemen and ' introduced the Rev Steele Craik who, after a fitting tribute to the benefac-' tors, formally dedicated the rooms.
