DAMAGED CROCHET HOOK
DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. Do not throw away a fine steel crochet hook because the hook is damaged. File it off smoothly, and you have a very useful addition to your work-box. The fine point is handy in unpicking stitches and the graduated stern makes an excellent stiletto.
