MASTERTON SALE. LAMBS IN KEEN DEMAND. The Associated Auctioneers report that at their weekly Masterton sale held yesterday a good yarding of sheep came forward being submitted to a fair attendance of local buyers. Fat sheep remained at late rates. All store sheep sold well up to recent rates, but any forward condition lambs were in keen demand at increased rates. The following were the prices: Fat sheep: Fat wethers. 20s 7d. 21s lOd. 22s to 235; fat ewes. 15s 6d to 16s. fat lambs, 19s. 20s 7d. to 225; fat b.f. iwo-tooths. 19s -7d to 20s. Store sheep: M.A. ewes r.w. S.D. rams. 11s 4d to 18s 6d; aged ewes do. 9sto Ils; two-and four-tooth wethers. 20s 6d to 21s 7d; two-tooth wethers. 17s 6d. 18s, 18s 3d. to 18s 9d; small do. 13s 3d to 14s: two-tooth ewes. 13s 3d to 14s: two-tooth ewes 16s; two-tooth b.f.. 17s to 17s Bd. Lambs; Good ewe lambs, 24s 8d to 25s 2d medium ewe lambs. 15s 3d. 17s 3d to 17s 6d; small ewe lambs, 6s to Ils; good condition wether lambs, 15s. 15s lOd to 20s 3d; medium wether lambs, 11s 7d, 12s 6d to 13s; small lambs, 6s, 8s 2d to 9s 2d: b.f. lambs. 12s 9d. 14s 6d. 16s to 16s Bd. Cattle: Fat Jersey cows. £4 to £5: store do. £3 12s 6d to £4. Pigs: Stores. 17s to 18s: weaners, 6s. 7s. to Bs.
