RELATIONS WITH AMERICA. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day. 9.15 a.m.) NEW YORK. April 10. The Australian Minister, Mr R. G. Casey, at the Economic Club stressed that the world war depression had taught Australia that she could not live apart from the world. He emphasised her political, financial and industrial stability and explained that the ten-fold increase in war expenditure necessitated the limitation of other dollar purchases. but that the total bought in the United States was likely to be increased.
