MASSED AND READY
GERMAN ARMY ON WEST FRONT MENACE TO LOW COUNTRIES. EARLY ATTACK POSSIBLE. A 8.8. C. commentator stated that everything is in readiness for a German offensive on the Western Front. Practically the whole German Army is massed along the French, Luxembourg, Belgian and Dutch frontiers, including fully mechanised and motorised divisions. It is rather significant that the two latter for the most part are facing neutral countries. Final arrangements for an offensive could be completed in two or three days, after which there would be no further warning.
