CHURCH SERVICES

The Rev. T. V. Pearson will he the preacher at 11" a.m. at St. Matthew's Church tomorrow and the Rev. V. W. Joblin al 7 p.m. The evening service at Kuripuni will be conducted by the Rev. T. V .Pearson and the afternoon service at Taueru by the Rev. V. W. Joblin. A special children's choir will provide items at Knox Church. Masterton. tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., when the Rev. J. Davie will be the preacher. Mr. Davie will also conduct services at Te Whiti at 1.30 p.m. and at Westmere at 3 p.m. A Bible Class group will conduct a service at Matahiwi at 2 p.m. The services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur. Mr McNeur will also preach at Rangitumau at 1.30 p.m.. and at Kopuaranga at 2.45 p.m.

Farewell services will be conducted in the Methodist Church on Sunday by the Rev. Frederick J. Parker, who will shortly leave Masterton to become superintendent minister of the Lower Hutt Methodist Circuit. Mr Parker will speak in the morning on "The Faith That Triumphs," and in the evening on "The Unbreakable Love." At the close of the evening service the interesting service for the reception of new members will be held, followed by Holy Communion. A farewell gathering will be held in the schoolroom on Monday evening, at 8 o'clock. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow the evening service will be conducted by young' men who were present at the Bible Class Easter camp. The Methodist service at Wangaehu tomorrow, at 2.30 p.m.. will be conducted by the Rev. Fred. J. Parker as a farewell service.

The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow in collection with the campaign of “The Crusade of the Flaming Heart" will be conducted by Major MahalTie. The Major’s subjects in the morning service will be "God's Promise of Blessing and Revival." and in the evening . "Facing Life Victoriously.” These are timely messages for present day needs. On Monday night a public welcome will be given to Commissioner and Mrs Evan Smith, the Army's newly appointed Territorial Commander.-;. Next Saturday and Sunday Captain Dr. Bram. Cook, from India, will conduct special services. All are invited. The service of the Masterton Baptist Fellowship in the Y.M.C.A. tomorrow moning at 11 o'clock will be conducted bv Mr. W. Carey, of Petone. j
