SOUGHT BY GERMANY IN RUMANIA WIDE ECONOMIC AGREEMENT DESIRED. ATTEMPT TO FORESTALL ALLIES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, April 4. The Bucharest correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says it is reliably stated that Germany is, seeking to conclude rapidly a widespread economic agreement with Rumania before the Allies’ policy forces Rumania to curtail her trade with the Reich. Herr Hans Neubacher, who is HenHitler’s envoy-at-large, has been empowered to conclude agreements without reference to Berlin. Another message from Bucharest states that members of the Rumanian Government regard the blockade as a warning of a new threat should Rumania attempt to avoid war by trying to satisfy all the belligerents.
