Clarke, Cole Street, Masterton. Mrs. T. Shaw, of New Plymouth, who had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. R. C. Satherly, Pongaroa, has returned home. Lieut.-Colonel C. E. Butcher and Mrs Butcher, of Greymouth, are at present the guests of Mr.'and Mrs. Miller Hope, Macara Street. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Baty, late of Renal! Street, Masterton, are at the Hotel Cecil, Wellington, and will leave next week for Tauranga. Mrs J. M. Simpson has returned to Masterton from Dunedin and is spending a few days with he,r daughter Mrs R. Wright, Church Street, prior to taking up her permanent residence in Dunedin.
