BRITAIN STOPS SALE TO LOW COUNTRIES. PURCHASES FOR GERMAN ARMS FIRMS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, April 2. The Associated Press of America Amsterdam correspondent reveals that Britain stopped Belgium and Holland imported rough diamonds, after a discovery that agents were operating in Antwerp and Amsterdam on behalf of unnamed clients buying them for shipment to Germany for use in armament factories, which is a violation of the British restriction.
