CROQUET CLUB SAUNDERS CUP MATCH. (“Times-Age” Special.) In a match played for the Saunders Cup Mesdames K. Allen and Roy Donald defeated Mrs L. Benton and Miss Lyford 26/24. Vital Statistics. The vital statistics for March are: Births 3, deaths 2, marriages 1. Rainfall for March. * There were 11 wet days in March. The total rainfall was 2.33 inches, the maximum fall being .71 inches on March 1. In March 1939 1.24 inches were registered, there being 9 wet days. Personal Items. Miss M. F. Pollard, Niagara Falls, U.S.A., and Mr and Mrs H. B. Eglinton, Hastings, are the guests of Miss B. Donald. “Tarureka.” Mrs D. Robertson left for Wellington today to see her brother, Clarence - Ashworth. of H.M.S. Achilles.
