ATTACKS REPULSED

Two attacks against French outposts were repulsed, with Germans killed and taken prisoner. INTENSE AIR ACTIVITY. (Received This Day, 10 a.m. ■) RUGBY, March 31. A French official communique states: "There has been fairly intense activity of both air forces.” GERMAN REPORT. (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) BERLIN, March 31. The News Agency claims that one German patrol captured six prisoners and another captured a machine-gun. in heavy fighting in which the enemy lost ten killed and a number wounded. The German losses were slight.
