IVOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the above Act and the Regulations made thereunder, every person and company within the meaning of the said Act, whether a taxpayer or not, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to make and furnish to me, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 o’clock noon on the 31st day of March, 1940. If the total unimproved value of the land of any person or company, as assessed under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, does not exceed £5OO, a return of land need not be furnished. And, further, notice is hereby given that such returns shall in all cases be delivered at or forwarded to the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Wellington, C. 3, on or before the 11th day of April, 1940. DOG REGISTRATION. ■XIOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 8 of the Dog Registration Act, 1938, the fee for the Registration of dogs within the County of Featherston for the year 1940 is now due and payable to the Registrar of Dogs at the County Office, Martinborough, or to Mr J. J. Killip, Martinborough, Deputy Registrar, who is empowered to collect registration fees. ALSO pursuant to section 6 of the Dog Registration Amendment Act, 1937, a preparation known as Arecoline Hydrobromide is to be supplied with each registration.THE AMOUNT OF FEES PAYABLE is hereby fixed as follows: For each dog kept solely for the purpose of destroying rabbits: 1/- each.
