ATOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 8 of “The Dog Registration Act, 1908,” the fee for the Registration of Dogs in the County of Masterton is now due and payable to the Registrar of Dogs at the County Office, Chapel Street, Masterton, or to Nicholas John Gerrand, Deputy-Registrar, who is empowered to collect Registration Fees. The amount of the fee for the registration of any dog of a greater age than six (6) months has been fixed by the Council at two shillings and six pence (2/6), plus an additional fee, pursuant to “The Dogs Registration Amendment Act, 1937,” of one shilling (1/-) per dog for the supply of Arecoline Hydrobromide (hydatid remedy), such fee to be paid at the time of registration, making a total fee payable for the registration year 1940 of three shillings and six pence (3/6) for each dog registered.
