BOWLING TOURNEY

EASTER MARLBOROUGH CONTEST Three hundred and twenty players in 80 rinks participated in the Marlborough Bowling Centre’s Easter tournament. The winner was Wall’s’ rink, of Christchurch, and the runners-up Glen's rink (Wellington). The Masterton Park rink —A. Kilgour, J. Ferguson. J. C. Ewington and W. Gibson (s) —although it won five games, failed to qualify, losing two games by a single point on each occasion. The tournament was held in good weather.
