SCHOOL SPORTS FINAL RESULTS. (“Times-Age" Special.) The following are the results of the final events in connection with the Greytown District High School sports: Secondary girls' long jump: Isabel Svenson (distance 12ft 7in) 1, Pat Sugrue and Mary McNamara 2. Secondary girls' high jump: Isabel Svenson (4ft 3in) 1. Pat Sugrue 2, Mary McNamara 3. Second boys’ long jump: Grant Hood (distance 17ft) 1. Alan Carter 2, Warren Trotman 3. OBITUARY MR N. FERGUSON. The death occurred at the Greytown Hospital yesterday of Mr Nicol Ferguson at the age of 74. The late Mr Ferguson had been a resident of Greytown for about twenty years and was one of the pioneers of the small fruit industry. He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter. Mr and Mrs Max Maddison, of Hastings, are spending the Easter holidays in Greytown. Mr and Mrs E. G. Thomas, of Island Bay, are the guests of Mr H. Walden. McMaster Street. The six Gre'ytown members of the Second Echelon will be entertained in the Odd Fellows’ Hall on Monday night.
