SEVEN NEUTRAL SHIPS SUNK IN TWO DAYS

TRAWLER SKIPPER'S REPORT.

The Danish steamer Sharkow, of 1026 tons was sunk oil' the East. Coast of Scotland. There is no news of the crew. U-boats also sank without warning the Christiansborg, of 3270 tons, and the Svinta, making a total of seven ships lost in two days as a result of Germany's unrestricted warfare against neutrals. About 50 persons are missing. None of the ships was sunk in convoy.
A German plane bombed the Norwegian ship Torra Elise, of 721 tons, in convoy off the Scottish coast on Wednesday and killed three members of the crew. The ship put into a northeast coast port, the captain and one member of the crew being injured. The skipper of the Aberdeen trawler Star of Peace reported that he believed his trawler had destroyed or badly damaged a U-boat in the North Sea. The trawler bumped over a metal object and lurched. She circled the spot four times, but there were no signs of wreckage. GERMAN CLAIMS SHIPPING "USEFUL TO ENEMY." (■Received This Day. 10.40 a.m.) BERLIN, March 22.
A communique claims Hint the activities'of Gorman naval forces against merchant shipping continue to be successful and that they have sunk 32,694 tons of enemy shipping and of shipping useful to the enemy in the past three days.
