ATTACK BY BRITISH PLANE ON UNARMED SHIP.

By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.. LONDON. March 22. The German official news agency says that a British plane yesterday bombed the German merchantmen Engriss between Emden and Hamburg. The ship was not hit. and a German plane drove off lhe attacker. The agency assorts that, this is the latest of several British air attacks on unarmed merchantmen. saying that the Kiel and Lina Fisser were recently similarly attacked, though neither was hit. and also lhe Swedish ship Buenos Aires. The Engriss is not listed at Lloyds.
