LINKING UP NATIONAL PARKS IN CANADA. EDMONTON. The new motor highway linking up the national parks of Banff and Jasper in the Canadian Rockies and passing through some of the finest scenic country in the world will be completed in time for opening on Dominion Day (Jaly 1), the 73rd anniversary of the' Confederation of the Dominion of Canada. This new motor highway passes through a section of the Dominion which has only been accessible on foot or on horseback. The highlights of the driveway, which extends 186 miles, arc Bow Lake, Mistaya and North Saskatchewan River Valleys, Sunwapta Pass, Athabaska Glacier. Sunwapta Falls, and Athabaska Lookout. Modern chalets, bungalow camps, picnic grounds and public campgrounds will be available for stop-overs.
