GOOD PRICES REALISED. The Associated Auctioneers report; Another big entry came forward at the Masterton sale yesterday. There was a good attendance of local farmers, and a big number of buyers from the West Coast. We have to report a very good sale. Buyers bid freely throughout, and the sale went with a swing from start to finish. Practically a total clearance was effected at prices well above vendors’ expectations. The following are •calisations: 2th ewes 23s to 25s 9d. (small) 19s 6d to 21s 6d; 4 and 6th ewes 22s to 265; syr ewes (good) 23s to 255. inferior 18s 6d to 21s; m.a. ewes 15s 6d to 18s 6d; cull ewes 7s to 10s: Ith wethers 20s 6d to 22s 6d: 2th wethers (very good) 21s, others 16s, 17s, 18s 6d to 20s: weather lambs (good) 15s to 17s sd, (medium) 12s to 14s, (small) 8s to Ils 6d. culls 4s 6d to 6s; ewe lambs, good. 20s 6d. 20s 9d. medium 15s 6d to 18s, small 12s to 13s; B.F. lambs (good), 18s to 20s 2d. (medium) 15s to 17s; fat wethers (heavy) 25s 4d to 26s Id, (light) 225: fat lambs 20s 6d to ,225; fat ewes 15s to 17s.
