GIFTS OF LINEN
AN ENJOYABLE GATHERING
MISS N. BIRCH HONOURED.
An enjoyable “linen gift afternoon" was held yesterday at the home of Mrs J. M. Coralline, Perry Street, Masterton, when Miss Ngaere Birch was the guest of honour. Miss Birch is to be married shortly to Leader-Stoker J. fl. (Jack) Coradine, of H.M.S. Achilles. who is a grandson of Mrs Coradine.
During the afternoon several musical and elocutionery items were given and much enjoyed and afternoon tea served. The many gifts were opened by the bride-to-be. after which her friends accorded her musical honours and wished her every happiness in the future.
