MARTINBOROUGH

WEDDING WILTON—SMITH. (“Times-Age” Special.) A quiet wedding took place at the Presbyterian Church on Saturday when Ivy Irene Margaret, third daughter of Mr and the late Mrs Albert Smith, of Martinborough, was married to Desmond Henry, second son of the late Mr and Mrs Denman Wilton, of Masterton. The Rev John Mann officiated and Mrs Mann presided at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a seal green costume over pink blouse, brown hat, gloves, and shoes, and carried a posy of pink tunings. Miss Gwenda Smith, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and wore a rust frock and hat and carried a posy to tone. Mr Clarence Wilton, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a silver horseshoe by Miss Uda Ridge. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride. Mr and Mrs Wilton wilt make their home in Martinborough. National Patriotic Fund. The following donations to the National Patriotic Fund have been received by the County Clerk (Mr H.
